Double your backhaul capacity for the same CAPEX.
Available TODAY only from Exalt
On August 3, the FCC approved 80 MHz channels at 11 GHz and 60 MHz channels at 6 GHz (see page 46 of the FCC document).
Exalt is the only microwave vendor that has a true 80 MHz profile available today. Other vendors have a maximum 56 MHz profile.
See the difference in maximum data throughput
| Channel Profile | Modulation | Maximum radio throughput* |
| 56 MHz | 256 QAM | 448 Mbps |
| 80 MHz | 256 QAM | 640 Mbps (43% more!) |
| 56 MHz | 512 QAM | 504 Mbps |
| 80 MHz | 512 QAM | 720 Mbps (43% more!) |
Exalt only |
* Throughput based on theoretical maximum over the air data rates. |
Additionally, Exalt offers 512 QAM in some models and, using the 80 MHz profile, increases throughput up to 100% over competitive systems using the 56 MHz profile at 256 QAM.
Exalt ExplorerAir LR using the 80 MHz profile and 512 QAM is capable of 720 Mbps – and its industry leading ultra-high system gain ensures that even at this higher data rate, availability is actually better than competitive systems running at 448 Mbps.
Exalt ExtremeAir is a dual carrier XPIC radio in a single ODU, capable of real 1 Gbps throughput at 11 GHz using 80 MHz channels (without compression or small packet tricks!)
